This document explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what happens to it afterwards. We have written it in plain language because the alternative — a wall of legal boilerplate nobody reads — does not actually protect anyone.
Who we are
Xentiq AutoLab Sdn. Bhd. operates the workshop and this website. We are based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, and we are the data controller for the personal information described below.
What we collect
When you submit our booking form, we collect the information you put into it: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), vehicle details, and the description of the issue. When you visit the website, our hosting provider may briefly log your IP address and the page you requested, for security and basic traffic analytics.
Why we collect it
- To respond to a booking enquiry with a confirmed slot.
- To keep a service file against your vehicle so we can reference it on later visits.
- To send a follow-up message after the work is completed, if you have asked us to.
- To meet legal obligations such as tax invoicing and warranty records.
Who we share it with
We share data only with parties strictly needed to deliver the service: our hosting provider, our payment processor when you pay an invoice, and where required by law. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information for marketing.
How long we keep it
Booking enquiries that do not lead to a service visit are kept for twelve months and then deleted. Service records are kept for seven years to satisfy tax and warranty obligations, after which they are permanently removed.
Your rights
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your data, where we are not legally required to keep it.
- Withdraw consent for follow-up contact at any time.

Email is the fastest channel. Send your request to the address below and reference "data request" in the subject line. We aim to respond inside ten working days.
Changes to this policy
When we update this document, the effective date at the top changes. Substantive changes are highlighted at the top of the page for thirty days after they take effect.
