Inspection & Tyres

A car is roadworthy when each of its wear-sensitive components is, individually, within tolerance. We inspect them one by one, with paperwork.

Inspection & Tyres

Most "general inspections" in the industry are a quick walk around the car with a clipboard. Ours is a 21-step grid that runs in the same order on every vehicle, so the results are comparable across visits, drivers and even mechanics. The output is a single-page health summary you can hand to anyone — including a future buyer.

On top of the standard grid, the tyre and wheel module measures tread depth at three points across each tyre, checks pressures cold, and inspects the suspension travel for damper wetness or bushing play.

What we check

  • Tread depth at three points per tyre (inner, centre, outer)
  • Cold pressure on every wheel, including the spare
  • Sidewall integrity, age coding and uneven-wear pattern analysis
  • Wheel balance and runout on a calibrated balancer
  • Damper rebound, anti-roll bar end-link and bushing inspection
  • Steering rack play and tie-rod end audit

What we typically replace

  • Tyres in matched pairs (or fours) when end-of-life is recorded
  • Wheel balancing weights, valve stems and TPMS sensors
  • Suspension bushings and links when measured failure is found
  • Wiper blades, washer fluid and exterior bulbs as part of the grid

What gets logged in your file

  • Single-page roadworthiness summary you can show anyone
  • Photo of every tyre with tread-depth gauge in frame
  • Alignment readings before and after, where adjusted
  • Date-stamped reminder for the next major service interval
You should not have to take our word for it that your car is fit for the road. The report should make the case in writing.
