A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep, so the browser can hand it back next time you visit. Some cookies are necessary for the site to work; others are optional. This page lists what we use, why, and how to refuse them.
Strictly necessary
These keep the site functional. Without them, basic things stop working — for example, our booking form needs a session token to prevent CSRF attacks. You cannot opt out of these without breaking the site, but they do not contain personal information you can be identified by.
- Session cookie — sets a temporary identifier that expires when you close the browser.
- CSRF token — protects the form against cross-site request forgery.
- Cookie consent record — remembers what you decided so we do not ask again.
Optional cookies
Aside from the strictly necessary cookies above, the Xentiq website does not currently load analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If that changes, we will list them here, ask you to opt in via the cookie banner, and only set them if you agree.
Where the consent record lives
When you tap "Accept" or "Reject" on the banner, we store a single string in your browser's local storage so we know not to ask again. The record contains the choice you made and the date — nothing else.
Changing your choice
The small cog icon in the bottom-right corner of any page reopens the consent banner. From there, change your decision and continue browsing.
Browser-level controls
All modern browsers let you block or delete cookies for individual sites. The setting lives in your browser's privacy or site-data section. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies will stop our booking form from submitting.
